Overview :

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer with a background in Direct to Consumer, Omni-Channel Ecommerce Operations and Integration management.

The Full Stack Developer will oversee the technical development and implementations for travismathew.com and travismathew.ca tech stacks and provide guidance on all implementations related to website development and third party enhancements.

This position is responsible for development of the web site's functionality and bug fixes. This role includes release management and controlling the flow of all communication within Jira. This person works closely with the Senior Manager for Ecommerce to organize and interpret scopes of work for key enhancements and troubleshooting when necessary.

You'll be responsible for working closely with the IT department, internal developers, and our development agency to execute bi weekly/monthly releases and managing the roadmap.

The Full Stack Developer will also play a critical role at TravisMathew on supporting tasks for conversion rate optimization, CX optimization, and core web vitals.

The Full Stack Developer will have a strong background in managing the multiple projects simultaneously, including troubleshooting technical issues for other Direct to Consumer websites.

This key role assists in developing processes to better throughput of development projects for consumer-facing websites, and ultimately improve the website NPS score.

The Full Stack Developer will also work closely with external partners for third party integrations and support project completion within budget and on schedule.

Essential Functions :

• Technical Development, Implementation, and System Maintenance
• Responsible for designing and developing user-friendly, ADA compliant, and visually appealing customer experiences and themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and Javascript (React.js).
• Responsible for building custom applications, creating and managing API connections, and managing data to enhance the functionality of Shopify stores such as Yotpo Loyalty, Checkout Extensibility, inventory, fulfillment, and customer service systems.
• Responsible for reviewing and implementing technical specifications and workflow diagrams for enhancements, bug fixes, and 3rd party integrations.
• Lead technical solutioning and integrations between Shopify stores and 3rd party software and services such as shipping logistics, order management, and marketing tools.
• Provide regular updates to the business on sprint issue status, identifying any blockers to the Technical Project Manager to ensure timelines are met.
• Responsible for writing clean, scalable code and participating in code reviews to ensure quality and knowledge sharing.
• Work closely with Ecommerce team to plan out new web enhancements across the year and manage the roadmap in coordination with Callaway DevOps to ensure optimal website performance.
• Develop, document and implement new processes and workflows to improve efficiency of site management, including bug management and UAT.
• Provide technical recommendations related to solving business problems such as reporting, customer service, site reliability.
• Develop and implement technical solutions with a thorough understanding of SAP, Snaplogic, and Shopify.
• Audit site daily with an emphasis on quality and accuracy; partner with IT and key 3rd party vendors to resolve any issues that cannot be handled internally
• Perform weekly and monthly reporting for ecommerce team. Analyze website feedback and circulate to appropriate departments.
• Collaborates with cross-functional business teams to identify and prioritize the user experience initiatives based on feedback
• Execute Content publishing activities across key areas of the site; inclusive of Homepage, Web Components, Banners, and Product launches/activations.
• Manage and troubleshoot tracking issues for 3rd party pixels in Google Tag Manager and Elevar. Update Data Layer variables as needed to accommodate tracking pixel issues.

Required Qualifications :

• 5+ years of Full Stack Developer role with both frontend and backend development experience on Shopify DTC websites.
• 5+ years of direct experience working in an Agile (SCRUM) product development environment
• 5+ years of experience developing Shopify Liquid themes, Shopify Flows, 3rd party applications, and custom events.
• Familiarity with SAP Commerce, Snaplogic, and Shopify
• Familiarity with Node.js, servers, and building/maintaining APIs.
• Knowledge of Github and other version control systems.
• Familiarity with Data Layer Variables, GTM, Elevar, and 3rd party tracking pixels.
• Experienced in integrating 3rd party SaaS systems such as Klaviyo, Personalization tools such as Dynamic Yield, ERP's; Omnichannel experience a plus
• Ability to conceptualize, develop and implement new processes and improve existing processes.
• Analyze and present data and develop insights and future direction from hindsight analysis.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with highly developed analytical and numeric reasoning skills.
