Job summary

Keka Technologies Private Limited is seeking an experienced expeditor for mechanical and electrical components in India. You will monitor vendor production, coordinate with procurement and quality teams, and drive on-time delivery across EPC and infra projects.

The role requires 6–7 years of hands-on expediting, strong vendor management, and FAT involvement to ensure equipment readiness and adherence to specs. Strong communication and multitasking capabilities are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering required.
  • 6-7 years hands-on expediting experience in mechanical and electrical components.
  • Experience in EPC, Power, Oil & Gas, industrial plants or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong vendor management and coordination skills.
  • FAT experience and monitoring of equipment readiness.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and expedite manufacturing activities at vendor facilities to ensure timely delivery of mechanical equipment, fabricated components, and project materials.
  • Coordinate with vendors, procurement, quality teams and stakeholders to meet schedules.
  • Track progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement recovery plans to minimize delays.
  • Conduct regular vendor visits to review production status and resolve delivery issues.
  • Ensure compliance with project specs and quality standards; participate in FAT.
  • Prepare expediting reports, dashboards, and recovery plans; present updates to management.

Experience

6-7 years of hands-on experience in expediting operations for Mechanical and Electrical components.

Experience in medium to large-scale manufacturing, EPC, Power, Oil & Gas, Industrial Plants, or Infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and expedite manufacturing activities at vendor facilities to ensure timely delivery of mechanical equipment, fabricated components, and project materials.

Coordinate with vendors, procurement teams, quality teams, and project stakeholders to ensure project schedules are met.

Track manufacturing progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement recovery plans to minimize delays.

Conduct regular vendor visits to review production status and resolve issues affecting delivery timelines.

Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and agreed

Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and monitor equipment readiness before dispatch.

Prepare weekly expediting reports, progress dashboards, vendor visit reports, action trackers, and recovery plans.

Present project progress and critical updates to project teams and senior management.
