Job Summary

The role will be responsible for managing receiving of material by complying with safety, regulatory requirements and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Warehousing operations management
• Ensuring timely processing of MB02 posting and manage relevant processes in shifts as per scope of services document.
• Unload incoming merchandise and verify quantities, types, and item descriptions against purchase orders, invoices, or packing slips.
• Visually inspect all incoming materials for defects, shortages, or damage incurred during transit.
• Record and sign for deliveries, maintaining accurate logs and reports on any discrepancies or damaged goods to initiate corrective actions with suppliers.
• Update the SAP by entering received data to ensure real-time inventory accuracy.
• Exceptional focus is required to catch shipping errors or minor quality defects that could lead to financial losses.
• Proficient in arithmetic to quickly verify counts and calculate dimensions or weights.
• Ability to use handheld scanners, barcode readers, and basic office software (Excel) for data entry.
• Manage documentation as per laid down guidelines of legal compliance and various audits.
• Drive continuous improvements through kaizen to address issues and improve efficiency & effectivity.
• Zero non-compliance to processes; zero accident.
• Adhere to material handling guidelines.
• Execute safety practices and compliance.
• Resolve daily operational issues, such as system issues, any escalations (short / excess receipt), to ensure smooth workflows.
