Job summary

Aliaxis in Hyderabad is seeking a materials handler to unload inbound RM and shelf‑life items, verify documentation for GRN, and maintain real-time stock accuracy. You will store materials by batch with FIFO/FEFO, label properly and ensure traceability across RM stores.

You will coordinate with QC for sampling and approvals, issue RM to production on plan, and monitor stock levels using ABC/Min‑Max analyses while maintaining 5S and compliance.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years experience in RM W/H with relevant education.
• Good documentation and record-keeping accuracy.
• Familiarity with safety, quality and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload incoming raw materials and shelf‑life items per safety guidelines.
• Verify materials received and hand over docs to Billing/Invoice team for GRN processing.
• Update stock registers and maintain real‑time accuracy.
• Store materials by type, batch, shelf life and FIFO/FEFO requirements.
• Maintain proper binning, labeling and traceability of all RM.
• Coordinate with QC for sampling, inspection and approval activities.
• Ensure timely issuance of RM to production per daily/weekly plan.
• Maintain stock levels with Mini–Max, reorder levels, ABC analysis and identify non‑moving items.
• Manage material planning and control to support uninterrupted production.
• Maintain 5S, cleanliness and housekeeping in all RM store areas.
• Ensure store operations per SOPs, procedures and OCP requirements.
• Prepare, update and implement OCPs for RM handling and warehouse activities.
• Provide awareness to junior team members on Quality, Environmental and Safety policies.
• Store waste in color-coded containers as per environmental guidelines.
• Update records such as Aspect–Impact Register, Risk & Opportunity Register and Compliance docs.
• Support internal and external audits with required information and closures.
• Conduct daily, monthly and annual physical stock counts; aim for zero variance.
• Address discrepancies identified during checks and audits.
• Coordinate with Purchase, QC, Production and Billing teams for material movement.
• Monitor material flow using SAP‑MM reports and post issues in SAP as allowed.
• Follow all quality, safety and compliance requirements in daily store ops.
• Support warehouse efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives.

Roles and Responsibility:

Update physical stock registers and maintain real‑time record accuracy. Store materials according to type, batch, shelf life and FIFO/FEFO requirements. Maintain proper binning, labeling and traceability of all raw materials. Coordinate with QC for sampling, inspection and approval activities. Ensure timely issuance of raw materials to production based on the daily/weekly production plan. Maintain optimum stock levels through regular stock monitoring, Mini–Max, reorder levels, ABC analysis and identification of non‑moving items. Manage material planning and control activities to support uninterrupted production. Maintain 5S, cleanliness and housekeeping standards in all RM store areas. Ensure that all store operations are carried out as per SOPs, procedures and OCP requirements. Prepare, update and implement OCPs related to RM handling and warehouse activities. Provide awareness to junior team members on Quality, Environmental and Safety policies. Store different types of waste in designated color‑coded containers as per environmental guidelines. Update and maintain records such as Aspect–Impact Register, Risk & Opportunity Register and Compliance documentation. Maintain accurate documentation for receipts, issues, stock registers and material movement records. Support internal and external audits by providing required information and closing observations. Conduct daily (planned SKU’s), monthly and annual physical stock counts and ensure zero variance. Address discrepancies identified during inventory checks and audits and ensure timely closure. Coordinate with Purchase, QC, Production and Billing/Invoice teams for material movement and documentation flow. Monitor material flow using SAP‑MM reports for stock overview, reservations and inventory tracking. Ensure accurate and timely issue posting (material issue to production) in SAP, depending on access rights. Follow all quality, safety and compliance requirements in daily store operations. Support warehouse operational efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills and Competencies:

0–3 years experience in RM WH & Diploma / Graduation in any specialization / Material management SAP S/4HANA exposure for material and inventory processes. Knowledge of RM specifications and handling. Strong documentation and record‑keeping accuracy. Good communication with internal and external teams. Awareness of safety, quality and compliance standards. Inventory‑control skills including FIFO/FEFO and stock rotation. Problem‑solving, planning, team‑building and decision‑making skills. Good commercial awareness and cost understanding.
