Job summary

Keka Technologies Private Limited in India is seeking an experienced finance professional with CA firm exposure to lead finance and accounts operations for multiple startup clients. You will manage the VCFO practice, assist with bookkeeping, finalization, MIS reporting, and compliance.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of experience, M.Com/B.Com or semi-qualified CA, and strong skills in MS Office, Tally, with QuickBooks/Zoho/Winman knowledge considered a plus.

Qualifications

• M.Com / B.Com or semi-qualified CA.
• 2–4 years experience, preferably with a CA firm.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Tally; knowledge of QuickBooks, Zoho and Winman is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage VCFO practice for startup clients including bookkeeping, finalization, and MIS reporting.
• Direct and indirect taxation and related compliance knowledge.
• Experience in GST, TDS and income tax compliance.
• Assist in financial due diligence during funding rounds.
• Provide ongoing financial and tax advisory to clients.
• Support team members in daily tasks.
• Serve as client single point of contact and participate in strategy discussions.
• Retain clients and resolve queries within TAT.

Job description

Looking for an experienced resource preferably from CA Firm who will be able to execute the finance and accounts operations for multiple startup clients.

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Manage the VCFO practice focused on start-up clients including assisting them in bookkeeping, finalization, MIS reporting, etc.
• Extensive practical knowledge in direct and indirect taxation and related compliances
• In-hand practical experience in managing statutory compliances (GST, TDS, Income-tax. etc.)
• Assistance in financial due diligence while the client is raising an investment
• Provide ongoing financial and tax advisory to clients
• Assist in the work of team members
• Client’s primary SPOC and participation in strategic discussions
• Retaining existing clients and solving functional queries within TAT

What are the key requirements for the role?

• M.Com / B.Com / Semi Qualified CA
• 2 to 4 years of experience (preferably with a CA firm)
• Proficiency in using MS Office and Tally
• Add on knowledge in Quickbooks, Zoho, Winma
• Excellent Analytical skills and Communication Skills (Written and Oral)
• Able to adapt and work with the fast-paced work culture and to adapt and learn quickly
