Job summary

AMS Human Resources Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Finance professional to lead project controlling, budgeting and forecasting for manufacturing-related business areas in Bengaluru. You will analyze variances, track project profitability and support month-end close.

The role requires strong SAP FI/CO experience, advanced Excel skills, and cross-functional collaboration with project teams and service stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Project Controlling, Business Controlling, FP&A or Management Accounting.
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial equipment organisation is required.
• Experience in project financial controlling, budgeting, forecasting and actual-versus-budget variance analysis.
• Exposure to Customer Service, Aftermarket, Spare Parts, Field Service or Service Projects is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with SAP FI/CO; SAP PS exposure is an advantage.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel and financial reporting.
• Postgraduate qualification in Finance/Accounting/Business Administration or CA/CMA qualification as per company requirements.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare annual budgets, periodic forecasts and monthly financial reports for assigned cost centres and service-related business areas.
• Monitor actual performance against budgets and forecasts; analyse cost and revenue variances and highlight key drivers.
• Track project financials, order release, turnover, revenue forecasts and project profitability.
• Support monthly project reviews in coordination with Project Managers and Customer Service stakeholders.
• Monitor personnel costs, operating expenses, service-related costs and cost allocations.
• Support month-end closing, accruals, journal postings and financial reconciliations.
• Assist with service hub inventory valuation, inventory movements and reconciliation.
• Monitor project cash flows, customer down payments, invoicing and receivables.
• Maintain accurate financial data and reporting in SAP and Excel.
• Coordinate with Finance, Project Management, Customer Service and Spare Parts teams.
