Job summary

Macquarie Group in Hyderabad seeks an experienced penetration tester to execute tests, evaluate findings and report remediation guidance. You will contribute to security testing processes and help shape technical strategy.

You will work across web, mobile, cloud and infrastructure security domains, translate complex findings for technical and executive audiences, and pursue ongoing learning and professional certifications.

Qualifications

• 5–13 years of hands-on experience in security testing or software development.
• Solid theoretical background in offensive security (web/mobile/infrastructure/cloud) and thick client.
• Willingness to learn and apply latest offensive security tactics, techniques, and procedures.
• Ability to perform thorough analyses and identify root causes behind vulnerabilities.
• Ability to convey technical insights to technical and non-technical audiences, including executives.

What role will you play?

You will be responsible for executing penetration tests, evaluating findings, reporting results, providing remediation advice, and improving security testing processes. Additionally, you will contribute to Macquarie's security practices at both tactical and strategic levels.

What You Offer

• Strong hands-on experience of 5 to 13 years in either security testing or software development.
• A solid theoretical background in offensive security subjects, such as web application security, mobile security, and infrastructure security (including cloud and containers) and thick client application.
• A willingness to learn, discover, and apply the latest offensive security tactics, techniques, and procedures.
• The ability to perform thorough analyses and strive to identify the root causes behind vulnerabilities.
• The ability to effectively convey technical insights to both technical and non-technical audiences, including C-level executives, through written and verbal communication.
• Practical certifications such as BSCP, CBBH, CPTS, OSCP, or OSWE are considered an advantage.
