Job summary

Apollo Tyres Ltd in Chennai Plant seeks an Executive - PCR QA to ensure compliance with standards and customer requirements. The role emphasizes conducting daily audits, identifying improvements, and supporting ISO/IATF certification processes.

Ideal candidates have a BE/B.Tech with at least 3 years in tyre QA, familiar with IATF 16949 and quality tools, ready to work at the Chennai Plant.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in tyre QA/audits.
• Knowledge of tyre manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with IATF 16949 quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct daily audits to verify SOP adherence.
• Identify opportunities for improvement via audits (B & C type deviations).
• Ensure closure of major deviations found in audits.
• Conduct cut tyres analysis as per plan.
• Support quality improvement projects.
• Assist customer and third-party audits (IATF & product certifications).

Purpose of the Job

Responsible forTo ensure that organizational processes and the products that result comply with the requirements of standards , as well as customer, regulatory, and the organization's own requirements.

Major Responsibilities

• Plan and execute daily audits to verify adherence to SOP
• Identity the opportunities for improvements (B & C typedeviation) through audits
• Ensure closure of major deviations identified in the daily audit
• Conduct cut tyres analysis as per plan
• Facilitate the Quality improvements projects
• Support preparation activities for the customer and third party (IATF & product certification) audits
• Follow SOPS and risk control measures in daily operations.
