Job summary

Jobitus in Visakhapatnam requires a qualified Quality Operations professional to manage end‑to‑end textile quality processes. You will deliver fabric meeting customer specs and identify defects with timely replacements to hit OTD targets.

The role involves coordinating with cross‑functional teams, guiding inspectors, and ensuring 5S/workplace safety on the shop floor. 3–5 years in Quality Operations is expected.

Qualifications

• Graduation or PG in Textile Engineering/ Textile Processing or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience in Quality Operations/Management systems.
• Strong understanding of weft knits fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Deliver fabric manufactured to meet customer quality requirements and specifications.
• Identify defects per customer quality parameters and obtain timely replacements to achieve monthly OTD targets.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to highlight technical quality issues and secure replacements on time.
• Guide and calibrate quality inspectors to improve inspection accuracy and overall quality performance.
• Ensure compliance with 5S standards, workplace safety protocols, and best practices on the production floor.

Job description

The Job:

• Responsible to deliver the fabric manufactured in accordance with customer quality requirements and specifications.
• Responsible for identifying the defective as per the customer quality parameters obtaining timely replacements to achieve monthly On-Time Delivery (OTD) targets.
• Responsible for coordinating with relevant cross functional teams to highlight the technical quality issues pertaining to the department and get replacements on time.
• Responsible for managing, guiding, and calibrating quality inspectors to improve inspection accuracy and overall quality performance.
• Responsible for ensuring compliance with 5S standards, workplace safety protocols, and operational best practices on the production floor.

The Person Essential:

Should have strong hands‑on experience in end to end Technical & Functional Quality operations.

• Possess a Graduation or Post Graduation in Textile Engineering / Textile Processing or any other equivalent qualification.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in Quality Operation and Management systems.
• Good understanding of weft knits fabrication.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and team handling skills
