Job summary

Asian Paints in Maharashtra (Lonavala) is seeking a Production Operator to support daily manufacturing activities. You will follow defined procedures, handle raw material additions, run SAP transactions, and maintain environmental and quality records.

You will plan shift activities, perform in-process checks, log end-of-shift reports, log equipment breakdowns in MAINTWIZ, conduct daily rounds, ensure hygiene and 5S, and uphold safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to production process per procedures.
• Add raw materials per batch requirements.
• Log transactions and process records in SAP.
• Update environmental and quality records regularly.
• Report progress of the plan and production details to superiors.
• Plan shift activities for manpower, machines, and batches.
• Perform in-process checks per guidelines.
• Fill reports at end of shift.
• Log all equipment breakdowns in MAINTWIZ.
• Conduct daily sectional rounds.
• Ensure consumables availability; raise requisitions and monitor stock levels.
• Maintain shop floor and equipment hygiene.
• Maintain 5S in floors and cabins.
• Carry out breakdown analysis.
• Maintain safety protocols and report to superiors.

• Ensure adherence to Production process as per laid down procedures and instructions
• Ensure Raw Material additions as per the batch requirements
• Carry out required transactions and process records in SAP
• Update Environmental and Quality Records regularly
• Report to Superiors on progress of the Plan/Production details and other issues within the Section
• Plan shift activities with respect to manpower, machine, batches, etc
• Ensure all in-process checks are carried as per process guidelines
• Fill up report at the end of the shift
• Capture all equipment breakdowns in MAINTWIZ
• Take daily sectional round
• Plan for availability of consumables raise requisition for consumables from stores monitor the stocks levels in section
• Ensure proper shop floor and machine/equipment/process hygiene
• Maintain 5S of the floor and cabins
• Carryout breakdown analysis
• Maintain all safety protocols and Update superiors
