Amneal Pharmaceuticals LLC is seeking a data and costing specialist to manage master data, costing, and inventory integrity. You will collaborate with finance, procurement, and production to ensure data accuracy and compliance.

The role involves supporting month-end close, SOX controls, and cross-functional analysis of inventory variances across multiple systems. A background in accounting/finance and ERP/MRP proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of P&L/Balance sheet/journal entry transactions.
• Bachelor’s in accounting/finance or business Admin with concentration in Accounting/Finance.
• Experience with cost accounting and cross-functional collaboration.
• Proficient in ERP/MRP systems and Excel.

Responsabilités

• Master data Management responsibilities: data creation, validation, discrepancy resolution, and ensuring compliance.
• Product Costing: maintain/update standard costs, material costs, and costing data in master systems.
• Collaborate on Month-End Close to resolve inventory issues and ensure accuracy.
• Support routine material requests from warehouse and oversee work orders.
• Monitor obsolescence/disposition/destruction processes (MRB).
• Support SOX controls and audits; assist inventory analysis across sources.

• Master data Management - Key responsibilities include data creation, validation, resolving data discrepancies, and ensuring compliance. Collaborate with business and IT teams to maintain data integrity and support reporting and business operations.
• Product Costing - Responsible for maintaining and updating product costing data in master data systems, including standard costs, material costs, and costing-related information. Ensure data accuracy, validate costing details after cost roll up, manage product cost updates, resolve data discrepancies, and coordinate with finance, procurement, and production teams to maintain consistent and reliable product master data.
• Month-End Close collaboration with cross functional teams to research/resolve inventory related issues/requests to ensure inventory is accurate and reliable.
• Support routine material requests from warehouse.
• Oversee work orders and actively work to identify problems when issuing material to avoid accounting variances.
• Advance knowledge of general accounting (journal entries, account reconciliations) as this position will achieve growth and cross functions.
• Support with SOX controls and other aspects related to controls and audit requests.
• Support daily inventory analysis/reporting using data from multiple sources (Warehouse, Production, Inventory System, etc.) to anticipate and solve any inventory control issues.

Required Qualifications And Skills

• Strong knowledge of P&L/Balance sheet/journal entry transactions. Bachelor’s in accounting/finance or business Admin with concentration in Accounting/Finance
• Computer skills with the ability to use Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel. Strong knowledge of Excel (pivots, VLOOKUP’s, formulas)
• Basic knowledge of cost accounting as this role will have collaboration/cross function with Cost Accounting and is also a potential for growth.
• Communication skills, problem-solving skills, collaborative, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to think outside-the-box when it comes to problem solving, development of analytics.
• Operational Accounting Background (knowledge of manufacturing/inventory) 1-2 years experience
• Basic Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems used in mid to large-size entities. Microsoft Applications- Advanced understanding of accounting principles (US GAAP)
