About this Position
The Executive – Maintenance is responsible for ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient maintenance of plant equipment, utilities, electrical, and instrumentation systems. The role involves executing preventive and corrective maintenance activities, driving asset reliability, managing contractors and SAP PM processes, ensuring regulatory and safety compliance, and supporting continuous improvement and CAPEX initiatives to enable uninterrupted plant operations.
What you´ll do
- Handson experience to resolve the problems of rotary equipment’s like motor,gear box, vacuum pump, hear pump, AODD pump, Centrifugal pump
- Performinspection, troubleshooting and maintenance of pumps, compressors,agitators, blowers, gearboxes, reactors, heat exchangers,storagetanksand other process equipment.
- Carryout shaft alignment, bearing replacement, seal replacement,lubricationmanagementand vibration monitoring.
- Inspectstatic equipment for corrosion, erosion,leakageand mechanicalintegrity issues.
- Maintainprocess piping systems, steam networks, compressed airsystems,nitrogen plant systemand utility pipelines.
- Leadroot cause analysis/WHY WHY analysis for recurring equipment failuresandimplementcorrective actions.
- Participatein annual shutdowns and turnaround activities includingplanning,executionand commissioning.
- DriveTPM (Total Productive Maintenance), Kaizen, blue card and reliabilityimprovement initiatives to reduce downtime.
- Ensuresafe dismantling, inspection, repair, and reassembly of major processequipment during shutdown activities while meeting planned timelines.
- Ensure safe, reliable, and efficient maintenance of plant equipment, utilities, electrical systems, instrumentation, and infrastructure.
- Execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance, including troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and utility equipment.
- Plan and execute shutdowns/turnarounds, equipment inspections, commissioning, and reliability improvement activities.
- Manage SAP PM, maintenance plans, work orders, equipment history, KPIs, and maintenance documentation.
- Supervise contractors, vendors, and AMC activities, ensuring quality, timely completion, and safety compliance.
- Drive RCA, TPM, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce equipment downtime and improve reliability.
- Ensure compliance with PTW, LOTO, HAZOP, statutory requirements, ISO audits, and SHE standards.
- Support CAPEX projects, equipment installation, commissioning, BOQ preparation, and coordination with Production, SHE, and other functions.
What makes you a good fit
- Should be a Mechanical Engineer
- Minimum 8 years of maintenance experience in a chemical/process manufacturing environment.
- Strong hands-on expertise in mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and plant utilities maintenance.
- Proven experience in SAP PM, preventive/predictive maintenance, breakdown troubleshooting, and reliability improvement.
- Strong knowledge of shutdown/turnaround execution, RCA, TPM, PTW, LOTO, HAZOP, and statutory compliance.
- Ability to effectively manage contractors, vendors, AMCs, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Good analytical, troubleshooting, coordination, MS Office and PowerPoint skills.
