Job summary

Keka Technologies Private Limited is seeking a proficient professional to plan and coordinate procurement of laboratory consumables, chemicals, reagents, instruments, and related supplies in collaboration with the Purchase Department. The role includes tracking preventive maintenance, calibration, and AMC schedules for instruments, along with managing cell bank records and ensuring traceability.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement of lab consumables and equipment.
• Knowledge of GLP and GDP compliance.
• Experience in maintaining instrument maintenance/AMC schedules.
• Ability to coordinate with vendors and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate procurement of laboratory consumables, chemicals, reagents, instruments, and other supplies with the Purchase Department.
• Track preventive maintenance, calibration, and AMC schedules for lab equipment and coordinate servicing with manufacturers.
• Manage cell banks records, labeling, and traceability; maintain Master and Working Cell Banks records.
• Maintain inventory of reagents, chemicals, consumables, and cell-based products; ensure optimal stock levels.
• Maintain QMS documentation; support audits with accurate documentation and history.
• Ensure compliance with GLP, GDP, safety, and regulatory policies; collaborate with QA, Procurement, and internal teams.

Job description

• Plan and coordinate procurement of laboratory consumables, chemicals, reagents, instruments, and other supplies in coordination with the Purchase Department. Monitor stock levels, forecast procurement requirements, and maintain procurement records including quotations, purchase orders, invoices, and vendor communications.
• Track preventive maintenance, calibration, and Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) schedules for laboratory equipment and maintain all related records. Coordinate with equipment manufacturers and service providers for equipment servicing, breakdowns, installation, and qualification of new laboratory instruments.
• Manage the establishment, maintenance, storage, and retrieval of cell banks, ensuring proper handling, labeling, documentation, and traceability of cell lines. Monitor cryopreserved cell storage conditions, maintain accurate records of Master Cell Banks (MCB) and Working Cell Banks (WCB).
• Maintain inventory of laboratory reagents, chemicals, consumables, media, standards, reference materials, and cell-based products and maintain optimal inventory levels to support uninterrupted laboratory operations.
• Maintain laboratory documentation in compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring all documents are current, controlled, and accurately maintained. Coordinate document revisions, maintain document history, and support internal and external audits through complete and accurate documentation.
• Ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Good Documentation Practices (GDP), laboratory safety, health and environmental policies, and other applicable regulatory requirements. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including Quality Assurance, Procurement, internal teams to support efficient laboratory operations.
