Job summary

Panacea Biotec in Solan (Himachal Pradesh) seeks an experienced IT Administrator to manage GXP IT systems at site, maintain inventory, ensure data integrity, backups, and security in line with SOPs.

You will lead the helpdesk, coordinate with Central IT, manage user accounts, backups, audits, and provide troubleshooting for Empower and QC/Manufacturing applications in a GMP setting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure regular backup of data per SOPs for all QC, Manufacturing and Engineering systems.
• Act as Administrator for all GXP IT systems at Site.
• Maintain an updated list of plant GXP IT systems inventory including software and hardware and stand-alone PCs used for GxP purposes.
• Implement password management and data integrity and security measures per Global IT guidance for the plant.
• Guide the helpdesk team on installation and updates of operating systems, software applications and utilities.
• Collaborate with Central IT Help Desk and Network Operations to resolve user issues.
• Manage user accounts, monthly folder creation, user group creation, data backup, data archival, and audit trails for QC Laboratory folders.
• Facilitate and resolve network-related troubleshooting.
• Troubleshoot Empower and other Quality Control/Manufacturing applications; perform data backup as per schedule and maintain backup logs.
• Perform activities as per IT guidelines and SOPs; maintain log books for all GxP IT systems.

Job description

• 1. Ensure regular backup of the data as per the SOPs for all QC (quality control) systems, Manufacturing and Engineering systems is being carried out including periodic check on restoration of the backed-up data as per the SOP.
• 2. To act as Administrator for all GXP IT systems at Site.
• 3. Maintain an updated list of plant GXP IT systems inventory. This includes software and hardware including the stand-alone computer systems that are used for all GXP (manufacturing, engineering and quality) purposes.
• 4. Implement the password management for the plant GXP IT systems. Implement the data integrity and security measures required as per the Global IT guidance and procedures for the plant.
• 5. Guide the helpdesk team as per customer requirements on installation and updates of operating systems, software applications and utilities.
• 6. Works with Central IT Help Desk and Network Operations staff as appropriate to determine and resolve problems received from users.
• 7. Responsible for user management, monthly folder creation, user group creation, Data-back-up, Data archival, Data checking, Performing audit trials, Recovery of electronic data for all the folders in Quality Control Laboratory.
• 8. To facilitate and resolve the network related troubleshooting.
• 9. To act as immediate troubleshooting technician for Empower and other Quality Control/Manufacturing applications and systems Perform data backup as per schedule and maintain backup logs.
• 10. To perform activities as per IT guidelines and SOPs
• 11. Maintain log books as appropriate for all the GxP IT systems as per SOPs.
