About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and proactive HR professional to manage plant-level day-to-day HR & Administration activities and support the organizations recruitment requirements. The role will involve close coordination with plant operations, department heads, employees, and the central HR team to ensure smooth people processes and effective manpower deployment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Plant HR Operations
- Manage day-to-day HR activities at the plant level.
- Support employee attendance, leave, shift, overtime and other HR-related processes.
- Maintain employee records, HR documentation and statutory records.
- Address employee queries and support timely resolution of employee-related concerns.
- Coordinate with payroll and HR teams for accurate employee data and inputs.
- Prepare and maintain HR reports, MIS and other plant-level HR dashboards.
2. Recruitment & Manpower Planning
- Handle end-to-end recruitment for plant-level manpower requirements.
- Coordinate with Plant Heads and Department Managers to understand manpower requirements.
- Source candidates through job portals, consultants, employee referrals, walk-ins, institutions and other channels.
- Conduct preliminary screening and coordinate interviews with the concerned departments.
- Maintain an active talent pipeline for shopfloor, technician and operator-level positions.
- Support joining formalities, documentation and onboarding of selected candidates.
3. Shopfloor / Operator Recruitment
- Drive recruitment of Machine Shop Operators, particularly:
- CNC Operators
- HMC Operators
- VMC Operators
- Other machining / shopfloor operators
- Develop and maintain local recruitment sources for skilled and semi-skilled manpower.
- Coordinate walk-in drives, recruitment campaigns and local sourcing activities.
- Prior experience in operator recruitment for CNC / HMC / VMC will be an added advantage.
4. Employee Engagement & Plant Support
- Support employee engagement initiatives at the plant.
- Facilitate communication between employees and management.
- Assist in grievance handling and employee-connect initiatives.
- Support HR initiatives related to discipline, attendance and employee welfare.
- Work closely with supervisors and department heads to address people-related issues.
5. Administration
- Coordinate routine plant administration activities.
- Support employee facilities and welfare-related requirements.
- Coordinate with relevant departments/vendors for administrative services.
- Ensure proper maintenance of HR & Admin documentation and records.
6. Compliance & HR Processes
- Support implementation of company HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure adherence to HR processes and statutory requirements.
- Assist in audits, inspections and compliance-related documentation.
- Support implementation of company initiatives related to safety, discipline and employee welfare.
Candidate Profile
Qualification
- Graduate in any discipline.
- MBA / PGDM in HR or equivalent qualification will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 2–6 years of experience in HR & Administration.
- Candidates with manufacturing / engineering industry experience are preferred.
- Experience in plant HR and shopfloor manpower recruitment will be highly preferred.

Preferred Candidate
The ideal candidate should be hands-on, proactive and comfortable working in a manufacturing plant environment, with the ability to independently manage routine HR activities while actively supporting manpower recruitment.
Added Advantage: Strong experience in sourcing and recruiting CNC / HMC / VMC Machine Operators and other shopfloor manpower.
