Job summary

Macquarie Group in Gurugram seeks an accounting professional to manage technical accounting, IFRS, payroll and benefits reporting for staff. You will contribute to a strong financial control environment and deliver key processes across the global organisation.

This role rewards ownership, process improvement and collaboration with business partners to gain deep insight into functions you support. A qualified CA with 2–4 years of relevant experience is expected, with hybrid working arrangements.

Qualifications

• CA with 2–4 years of experience in technical accounting, IFRS, and related reporting.
• Advanced financial reporting and analysis capabilities, including month-end close and statutory/tax reporting.
• Sound payroll and benefits accounting knowledge with strong reconciliation and control skills.
• Proven ability to drive process improvements and strengthen internal controls.
• Demonstrated ownership, accountability and prioritisation in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

What role will you play?

In this role, you will help maintain a strong financial control environment across our global organisation while leading an inclusive and high-performing team. You will be responsible for delivering key processes, driving operational excellence, and ensuring effective process ownership. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with the business, gaining deep insight into the functions and teams you support.

What You Offer

• CA with minimum 2-4 years of experience in technical accounting, with a deep understanding of IFRS and the ability to assess and apply appropriate accounting treatments to complex business transactions.
• Advanced financial reporting and analysis capabilities, including month-end close, balance sheet management, and statutory, regulatory, and tax reporting.
