Responsibilities

• Identifying accounting and Assurance issues and discussing solutions with Assurance in-charge.
• Carry out substantive testing according to the Assurance plan and document work performed.
• Identify improvements to control systems and procedures.
• Present Assurance reports with key recommendations to management.
• Prepare and maintain books of accounts, Assurance, reconciliation of receivables & payables, finalization of accounts.
• Assist seniors in reviewing financial statements and preparing Assurance reports and letters.

Assurance Executives are required to carry out operational, financial, process and Systems Assurances designed to review and appraise its activities, systems and controls, which includes:

• Identifying accounting & Assurance issues; discuss with Assurance in-charge to solve issues that arise,
• To carry out substantive testing of appliances in accordance with the Assurance plan formulated & appropriately document all work performed,
• Identifying improvements to control systems and procedures
• Presenting Assurance reports clearly highlighting key Assurance recommendations to management ,
• Preparing & maintaining books of accounts, Assurance, reconciliation of account receivable & payable, finalization of accounts,
• Assist the seniors in reviewing & checking the financial statements & preparation of the Assurance report, management comment letter & management representation letter.
