Role Overview
The Founder's Office Role at Lal Sweets is a high-impact, cross-functional team working directly with the Managing Director to drive strategic initiatives and solve key operational challenges. We are looking for a driven, analytical, and hands-on professional with a strong background in operations, supply chain management, and business strategy to act as a thought partner and execution engine for the founder.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Operations:
- Drive end-to-end execution of high-priority operational projects across manufacturing, logistics, and distribution.
- Identify inefficiencies in production and supply chain workflows; design and implement scalable process improvements.
- Partner with functional heads (production, logistics, procurement) to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
- Supply Chain Optimization:
- Analyse and optimize the full supply chain from procurement to last-mile delivery.
- Improve demand forecasting, inventory management, and vendor relationships.
- Work closely with ERP and MIS teams to ensure data-driven decision making.
- Founder Support & Special Projects:
- Act as a strategic right-hand to the founder for decision-making support.
- Prepare business dashboards, reports, investor updates, and board presentations.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives that have a direct impact on growth, profitability, and customer experience.
- Conduct market research, competitor benchmarking, and customer insights to inform business decisions.
- Evaluate new business opportunities (e.g., geographic expansion, new product lines, retail strategy).
- Build financial models, business cases, and strategic frameworks.
Key Requirements
- 3–6 years of experience in a fast-paced environment (e.g., operations/supply chain roles in FMCG, manufacturing, or startups).
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data tools; ERP knowledge is a plus.
- Experience working with factories, procurement, warehousing, and logistics.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a bias for execution.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
- MBA or equivalent degree preferred, but not mandatory if experience is solid.
NOTE - We have 6 days working; only 2nd & 4th Saturday is off.
