Job summary

Mars Petcare Hyderabad invites applications for a Laboratory Executive Analytics in the site R&D Quality & Food Safety function. The role focuses on analytical testing, COA verification, records, and cross-functional coordination with Lab, Ops, and Product teams.

The candidate should have 2–3 years of analytical or microbiological lab experience in food/pharma settings, with MSc Chemistry or BTech Food Tech/MSc Life Sciences and the ability to communicate effectively and deliver consistent

Qualifications

• MSc Chemistry with first class or BTech Food Technology or MSc Life Sciences with Chemistry in BSc, first class.
• 2–3 years of analytical or microbiological lab experience.
• Willingness to deliver consistent results and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspection and analysis of incoming raw and packaging materials as per the test plan and verify COA.
• Communicate material/product status for release/hold/rework/reject.
• Lead and ensure analytical plan is executed; report results to QFS in charge/QC manager.
• Maintain trend analysis for analytical results and share with stakeholders.
• Track chemical consumption in the analytical section and arrange procurements to maintain stock.
• Support development and validation of new analytical test methods as required.
• Supervise temporary Lab Associates to complete assigned jobs.
• Collaborate with Ops to monitor PRPs and troubleshoot CCPs.

Job Description:

Exciting opportunity to join the site R&D team at HYD in Quality & Food Safety function as Laboratory Executive Analytics.

QC Associate shall work QC Laboratory (primarily Analytical section), in close coordination with Lab Team, Lab technical coordinator , Shift Manager, Supply Director, Product Development In charge, PPI, Planning team and other R&D Associates. He/she shall be responsible to follow approved test methods, lab equipment’s calibrations, maintain accurate records, timely internal/ external communication, close coordination with External laboratories, key Suppliers and Operations Team and maintenance of Laboratory assets.

What are we looking for?

• Educational & Professional Qualification. MSc –Chemistry with first class (or)/ B. Tech Food technology or MSc- in any Life Sciences, with Chemistry as one of the subjects in B Sc. with first class.
• Minimum 2-3 years working experience in analytical or microbiological laboratory. Working experience with Food/ Pharma Company is preferable.
• He/She who is willing to Delivers Consistent Results and Creates Collaborative Relationships, with good written and oral Communication skill

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Conduct inspection, analysis of incoming raw & packaging materials as per test plan. Verify COA.

• Maintain the trend analysis for Analytical results and share with key stakeholders
• Track the chemicals consumption in Analytical section and arrange the procurements of Chemicals and consumables to maintain stocks
• Support QC manager to develop and validate the new analytical test methods, as required
• Supervise performance of Temporary Lab Associates to complete assigned jobs
• Closely work with Ops team and ensure effective monitoring of PRPs and in case of trouble shooting on failure of PRPs or CCPs
• Assist in effective implementation of PRPs, Conduct OJ Food Safety training, GMP GHP, GLP sessions for associate
