Job summary

Piramal Pharma Solutions is seeking an Executive to operate and maintain water treatment plants (DM and purified water) in shifts. The role requires ensuring sanitation, record-keeping per cGMP and GDP, PPE adherence, and ongoing plant cleanliness.

You will monitor chemical dosing, maintenance, and daily logs, while ensuring safety and compliance across operations. Shift work and attention to process efficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering Technology in Mechanical Engineering.
• Commitment and delivery of results.
• Willingness to operate in shifts and maintain water treatment plants.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain DM and Purified water plants in shifts.
• Perform sanitization and CIP for water plants.
• Record logs as per cGMP and GDP.
• Ensure PPE usage and safety in water plants.
• Maintain cleanliness of plant and equipment.
• Look after maintenance and operations of DM and PW plants in shifts.
• Record daily water treatment logs as per GDP.
• Monitor PPE usage by workers at operations areas.
• Operate, sanitize, CIP and regenerate Water Treatment Plants daily.
• Monitor water consumption and track abnormalities.
• Add water treatment chemicals and record doses.
• Prepare lists of critical spares and monitor availability.
• Complete breakdown and planned jobs and verify.
• Report incidents/near misses/illness to supervisors.
• Follow schedules for preventive maintenance of water systems.
• Monitor PPE usage and ensure maintenance and cleanliness.

• 1. Operation & Maintenance of Water treatment plants - Potable/DM/Purified water plants in shifts
• 2. Perform sanitization & CIP for water plants.
• 3. Record logs as per cGMP & GDP.
• 4. Ensure PPE usage at workplace & ensure safety in water plants
• 5. Cleanliness of plant & equipment to be maintained
• 1. Look after maintenance and operations of DM Water Plant & Purified Water Plant in shifts.
• 2. Recording & Ensuring daily Water Treatment operational log sheets as per GDP.
• 3. Close monitoring & ensuring PPE usage by workmen at operational areas.
• 4. Operation & Sanitization, CIP & Regeneration of Water Treatment Plants on day to day basis.
• 5. Close monitoring the process water consumption & tracking the abnormalities.
• 6. Addition of water treatment chemicals and recording the same.
• 7. Preparation of list of spares & day to day monitoring the availability of critical spares.
• 8. Ensuring the completion of the breakdown, planned jobs and cross verifying the same.
• 9. Report any incident/accident / near miss / illness to the superiors.
• 10. As per schedules preventive maintenance of water system shall be ensured.
• 11. Monitor usages of PPEs, respiratory protection equipment and ensure maintenance & cleanliness.
• 12. Observe unsafe acts and conditions and take corrective & preventive actions immediately.
• 13. Also responsible for the work of senior in the absence of senior.
• 14. Follow cGMP standards.
• 15. Follow good engineering practices.
• 16. Maintain good housekeeping & ensure cleanliness & no leakages of water plants round the clock.
