Job summary

Piramal Pharma Solutions in India is seeking an Executive to operate and maintain water treatment plants (Potable/DM/Purified water) in shifts. The role requires strict adherence to cGMP and GDP, and hands-on supervision of water plant processes, PPE usage, and safe work practices.

Key responsibilities include sanitization, CIP, log keeping, and daily monitoring of process water consumption. The candidate should be prepared to support senior staff in the absence of seniors and ensure general

• Prepare spares list and monitor critical spares availability.
• Follow cGMP standards and good engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain water treatment plants (potable/DM/purified) in shifts.
• Carry out sanitization and CIP for water plants.
• Monitor daily water treatment operation logs and GDP compliance.
• Ensure PPE usage and safety in all work areas.
• Record and report incidents and near misses to superiors.
• Ensure timely maintenance and breakdown/planned jobs.

Job Description

• Operation & Maintenance of Water treatment plants - Potable/DM/Purified water plants in shifts
• Perform sanitization & CIP for water plants.
• Record logs as per cGMP & GDP.
• Ensure PPE usage at workplace & ensure safety in water plants
• Cleanliness of plant & equipment to be maintained
• Look aftermaintenance and operations of DM Water Plant & Purified Water Plant in shifts.
• Recording & Ensuring daily Water Treatment operational log sheets as per GDP.
• Close monitoring & ensuring PPE usage by workmen at operational areas.
• Operation & Sanitization, CIP & Regeneration of Water Treatment Plants on day to day basis.
• Close monitoring the process water consumption & tracking the abnormalities.
• Addition of water treatment chemicals and recording the same.
• Preparation of list of spares & day to day monitoring the availability of critical spares.
• Ensuring the completion of the breakdown, planned jobs and cross verifying the same.
• Report any incident/accident / near miss / illness to the superiors.
• As per schedules preventive maintenance of water system shall be ensured.
• Monitor usages of PPEs, respiratory protection equipment and ensure maintenance & cleanliness.
• Observe unsafe acts and conditions and take corrective & preventive actions immediately.
• Also responsible for the work of senior in the absence of senior.
• Follow cGMP standards.
• Follow good engineering practices.
• Maintain good housekeeping & ensure cleanliness & no leakages of water plants round the clock.
