Job summary

Larsen & Toubro is seeking personnel with AutoCAD 2D, Catia 3D and field installation expertise. The role involves outfitting pipes/spools from diagrams, performing hydro pressure tests, leak tests and flushing, and executing structural installations with welding to meet strict tolerances and customer specs.

Experience with equipment installation and reading drawings is essential, with emphasis on accurate alignment to drawings and documents to ensure safe, compliant assembly on site in India.

Qualifications

• Understanding AutoCAD 2D drawings and Catia models.
• Experience in outfitting and installation of pipes/spools from line diagrams in AutoCAD and Catia 3D models.
• Perform hydro pressure testing, leak testing and flushing of spools per customer docs.
• Structural installation work including various welding processes and hydro pressure testing of heavy structures.
• Install equipment with tight tolerances as per drawings and customer documents.

Responsibilities

• Interpret AutoCAD 2D drawings and Catia 3D models.
• Install pipes/spools per line diagrams and Catia models.
• Conduct hydro pressure testing, leak testing and flushing as per specs.
• Perform structural installation and welding with hydro testing.
• Install critical equipment to meet tolerance and customer parameters.

Job description

Staff having skill or expertise in following activities are suitable for this role.

• 1. Ability to understand AutoCAD 2D drawings and 3D Catia models.
• 2. Outfitting activities such as installation of pipes/spools based on the line diagram in AutoCAD (for layout) and 3D models in Catia (for orientation of spools).
• 3. Hydro pressure testing, leak testing and flushing of spools after installation of spools based on the pressure mentioned in customer approved documents.
• 4. Structural installation works which include different types of welding processes and hydro pressure testing of heavy structures after complete installation.
• 5. Installation of equipment / critical equipment having minute tolerance limits, based on the location mentioned in drawing and to meet required parameters mentioned in customer approved documents.
