Summary

This document describes the duties, responsibilities, and required skills and experience for the position of Software Engineer II, Implementation.

The Senior Software Implementation Engineer is responsible for the successful deployment, configuration, and integration of healthcare technology software solutions. This role focuses on delivering technical expertise during implementation projects, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring smooth adoption of software by healthcare clients. The engineer works closely with project managers, clients, and development teams to translate requirements into functional solutions while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Implementation and Integration

• Lead the implementation, configuration, and customization of healthcare software products according to client requirements and best practices
• Develop and customize software configurations to align with client-specific business processes.
• Design and implement APIs, integrations, and data workflows connecting software to external systems.
• Collaborate with technical architects and project managers to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain best practices, tools, and processes to improve implementation efficiency and scalability.

Technical Support and Troubleshooting

• Provide advanced technical support during implementation and post-deployment phases.
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve software issues related to configuration, performance, and integration.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to reproduce, track, and resolve bugs or feature requests.

Project Execution

• Own the end-to-end technical delivery of implementation projects, including configuration, customization, and testing of software solutions.
• Identify and resolve technical challenges and bottlenecks during the implementation lifecycle.
• Ensure proper integration of the software with existing client systems and infrastructure.
• Maintain detailed documentation for configurations, workflows, and technical solutions.

Client Engagement and Support

• Work directly with clients to understand technical requirements, workflows, and constraints.
• Assist in user training sessions, provide technical documentation, and promote best practices for software usage.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure client satisfaction and successful project outcomes.

• Stay current on product updates, healthcare regulations, and industry trends

Skills and Qualifications

Education and Experience

• 7+ year experience in software implementation or related roles
• 4+ year degree in computer science or equivalent degree
• In-depth knowledge of Java SE & Java EE.
• Proficiency in working with relational databases (e.g., MySQL)
• Proficiency in Git and code collaboration platforms (e.g., GitHub, GitLab).
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• Proficiency in writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
