First American (India) seeks a Title Examination professional to conduct thorough reviews of commercial property records, ensuring accuracy of title commitments. You will assess deeds, easements, liens, and related documents while adhering to First American underwriting guidelines.
Strong analytical skills and detail orientation are essential. The role requires several years of experience in title examination, with preference for multi-site or multi-state exposure.

Title Examination Conduct detailed and comprehensive examinations of commercial property records, including deeds, easements, liens, general index, tax records, plat examining, and related documents. Review and validate chain of title, legal descriptions (well versed with all types of legal descriptions), surveys, and other instruments to produce accurate title commitments. Analyze complex, multi-parcel, multi-site, or specialized commercial transactions with a high degree of competency and independence. Apply First American underwriting guidelines consistently to ensure quality and risk mitigation. 3+ years of title examination experience, with significant exposure to Full Search (Minimum 30 Years Search Standard) transactions preferred. Commercial real estate or legal experience and familiarity with multi-state transactions are highly beneficial.
