The Corporate Institute in Delhi is seeking an experienced Equity Research Analyst to build and maintain Excel-based financial models, perform peer benchmarks, and prepare industry research presentations for marketing and roadshows. You will collect data from Bloomberg and Thomson Reuters, perform DCF/DDM valuations, and summarize conference calls.

• Prepare company profiles, earnings notes, updates, coverage, and reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain MS Excel-based financial models with forecasts.
• Benchmark companies by financial and operating statistics.
• Create presentations on industry and company research for marketing and roadshow activities.
• Collect information from industry or sector databases.
• Calculate or compare valuation comparable.
• Handle ad hoc research requests.
• Collect financial data using online and other sources such as Bloomberg and Thomson Reuters.
• Coordinate and maintain industry databases wherever relevant.
• Conduct extensive company valuations involving approaches such as DCF, DDM, trading and transaction multiples, and EVA.
• Prepare company profiles, earning and flash notes, quarterly updates, coverage, sector, and theme-based reports, newsletters, technology primers, etc.
• Summarize investment conference calls and conduct management interviews.

Required Qualifications:

• 5 – 10 years of experience in equity research.
• MBA/CFA Level 1, 2, or 3 (pursuing or complete) will be advantageous.
• Ability to identify and solve issues effectively and within deadlines.
• Basic knowledge of microeconomics / macroeconomics is must.
• Strong accounting and financial analysis skills.
• Ability to think outside the box.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel.
• Knowledge of VBA will be advantageous.
