Job summary

ZettaMine in Gurgaon is seeking a QA ETL Engineer to lead testing of data platform and cloud warehouse solutions. The role focuses on automated test design, ETL validation, and data integrity across Snowflake, Databricks, and BigQuery.

The candidate will implement automation using Core Java or Python, write complex SQL, and collaborate with data engineers and business teams to ensure data quality in AGILE projects.

Qualifications

• 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in QA/testing, with strong exposure to ETL and Data Warehouse testing.
• Strong hands-on experience in automation testing using Selenium.
• Good programming skills in Core Java or Python.
• Strong SQL and database testing capabilities.
• Practical experience with Snowflake, Databricks, and BigQuery.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work closely with cross-functional technical teams in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated test cases for data platform and data warehouse applications.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Selenium with Core Java or Python.
• Perform ETL testing to validate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
• Validate data between source and target systems and identify data discrepancies.
• Write and execute complex SQL queries for data validation, reconciliation, and backend testing.
• Test data pipelines and workflows across various databases and cloud data platforms.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and data validation testing.
• Validate data transformations, business rules, mappings, aggregations, and data integrity.
• Work with Snowflake, Databricks, and Google BigQuery environments for data validation and testing.
• Identify, analyze, and troubleshoot data quality issues and ETL failures.
• Collaborate with developers, data engineers, ETL developers, and business teams to understand requirements and resolve defects.
• Create and maintain detailed test scenarios, test cases, test scripts, and test execution reports.
• Automate repetitive validation activities wherever possible to improve testing efficiency.
• Participate in defect management, root-cause analysis, and resolution verification.
• Support regression testing during data pipeline, application, and platform changes.
• Ensure overall quality and reliability of data warehouse and cloud data platform solutions.
