Job summary

LTM is seeking an experienced ETL Test Automation Engineer to join our team in Chennai and Pune. The role focuses on ETL testing, data validation, and automation using Java or Python, with hands-on Selenium WebDriver and API testing expertise.

You will design automation frameworks, validate data mappings, and collaborate with developers and analysts to ensure quality across data pipelines and integrations. The position requires strong SQL skills and experience with Jira/Azure DevOps.

Qualifications

• Experience in ETL testing and data validation.
• Hands-on with Java or Python automation.
• Hands-on Selenium WebDriver experience.
• Experience with API testing including Postman/REST Assured.
• Strong SQL and database testing skills.
• Experience building automation frameworks from scratch.
• Understanding of SDLC/STLC and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with Jira or Azure DevOps for defect tracking.

Responsibilities

• Perform ETL testing including data validation, data migration testing, and data quality assurance.
• Design and execute test cases for data pipelines, APIs, and database systems.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java or Python.
• Build and enhance scalable automation frameworks from scratch.
• Validate source-to-target data mappings and business rules.
• Conduct API testing and automation to ensure system integration.
• Perform SQL and database testing to verify data integrity and accuracy.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts and stakeholders to ensure quality delivery.
• Execute functional, regression, integration and end-to-end testing activities.
• Identify, track and resolve defects throughout the SDLC.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ETL Test Automation Engineer with strong expertise in ETL Testing Test Automation Data Validation and Database Testing The ideal candidate should have handson experience in building automation frameworks validating largescale data migrations and developing automated test solutions using Java or Python Similar skills are reflected in internal QA and ETL testing profiles including ETL validation Selenium automation API testing SQL and framework development

Key Responsibilities

Required Skills

• Expertise in SQL and Database Testing
• Experience in creating and maintaining automation frameworks from scratch
• Good understanding of SDLC STLC Agile and Scrum methodologies
• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CICD tools such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps
• Knowledge of TestNG Maven Cucumber or similar automation frameworks
• Exposure to Banking Financial Services Insurance or Telecom domains
• Knowledge of cloudbased data platforms and data warehousing concepts
