Job summary

S G Controls in Pune, Maharashtra invites fresh Diploma or BE/BTech Electrical Engineering graduates for Graduate Engineer Trainee (Sales & Estimation). You will receive hands-on training in estimation, technical proposals, and sales support while working with experienced engineers.

You will learn to read SLDs, prepare BOMs, quotations, and coordinate with customers and internal teams. This is a full-time training role with exposure to IEC/IS standards and pan-India sales activities.

Qualifications

• Diploma or BE/BTech in Electrical Engineering.

• MS Excel/Word/Email basic skills required.

Job Summary:

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated fresh Diploma/B.E. Electrical Engineering graduates who are eager to build their careers in the Electrical Control Panel industry. The selected candidate will receive hands-on training in estimation, technical proposal preparation, and sales support while working closely with experienced engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Estimation & Proposal Support:

• Learn to understand RFQs, customer inquiries, and technical specifications.
• Assist in preparing cost estimates for LT Control Panels (MCC, PCC, APFC, PLC Panels).
• Support preparation of Bill of Materials (BOM) under senior engineer guidance.
• Coordinate with vendors for component pricing and technical details.
• Assist in preparing techno-commercial quotations and proposals.

2. Technical Learning & Documentation:

• Learn to read Single Line Diagrams (SLD), GA Drawings, and electrical schematics.
• Support the engineering team in preparing technical documents.
• Gain knowledge of IEC/IS standards and electrical panel manufacturing practices.
• Assist in identifying cost-effective engineering solutions.

3. Sales Support & Customer Coordination:

• Support the sales team in responding to customer inquiries.
• Follow up on quotations and customer feedback.
• Assist in preparing technical clarifications and project-related documents.
• Build professional relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.

4. Internal Coordination:

• Coordinate with Design, Purchase, Production, and Quality departments.
• Support order documentation and project handover activities.
• Maintain records of quotations, customer communications, and project status.
• Perform other tasks assigned by seniors as part of training and development.

Eligibility:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Electrical Engineering.
