Job summary

Mantras2Success.com is seeking a candidate with 2+ years of experience in estimation or design of control panels to read inquiry data, prepare BOMs from SLDs, and craft optimised offers. You will coordinate with inside sales, purchasing, and design teams to validate datasheets and ensure the quoted configuration meets customer requirements.

The role demands clear communication, precise calculations, and timely submission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
• 2-4 years proven experience in estimation or design of control panels.
• Knowledge of design and estimation fundamentals.
• Customer interaction and negotiation.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand inquiry data from inside sales and sales teams.
• Read SLD and prepare bills of materials with feeder summary per SLD/technical requirements.
• Prepare optimised offers with precise make and discount considerations.
• Submit offers and GA to inside sales; obtain prices from purchasing and datasheets for new items in BOM.
• Validate technical datasheets and map items to control philosophy and customer requirements.
• Meet with customers or conduct site visits for knowledge exchange at offer stage.
• Submit offers and GA on time as directed by senior engineer/manager or sales team.
• Conduct commercial comparison and loss factor analysis to improve win-rate.
• Use Insta quote software for error-free BOM submission, feeder qty, references, and quantities to design team and customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and understand the data of inquiry received from inside sales/sales
• Read SLD and make bills of materials with feeder summary, adhering to SLD or technical requirements
• Best optimised offer preparation and precise make and discount to be considered while making offer
• Submission of offer and tentative GA to inside sales team, demand pending prices from purchase team and datasheets if any new make or item added in BOM
• Validation of technical datasheets of items selected in BOM as well as mapping the items with control philosophy and customer requirement before submission of offers.
• Meetings with customers or site visits for technical knowledge exchange or understanding applications at the offer stage.
• On-time submission of offers and GA as per priority given by senior engineer/manager or sales team
• Commercial comparison and loss factor analysis to improve the winning ratio of orders
• Optimum usage of Insta quote software for error‑free submission of BOM, feeder qty, cat references and Qty. to design team and customers.
