Estimation Engineer - HVAC - Guindy - Immediate Joiners

We are hiring an Estimation Engineer for a leading HVAC company in Guindy, Chennai. Immediate joiners are preferred.

Job Responsibilities

1. Study and review tender documents, scope of work, drawings, BOQ, specifications, and client requirements.
2. Perform quantity take-offs for small projects.
3. Send inquiries to suppliers and subcontractors for quotations.
4. Prepare technical queries for ambiguities in drawings, specifications, and BOQ.
5. Prepare RFQs for high-value items.
6. Review supplier quotes and finalize offers.
7. Prepare BOQ unit rates as per tender format.
8. Develop value engineering proposals to optimize costs.
9. Assist the senior manager on tendering matters.
10. Design ducting and piping using software tools like duct sizing and pipe sizer.
11. Communicate effectively in written and verbal forms.
12. Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD for design and drafting.
13. Strong presentation skills.
