Job summary

Elite Staffing Services seeks an experienced Estimation Engineer to prepare accurate cost estimates, BOQs, MTOs, and techno-commercial quotations for electrical panel projects.

You will review client drawings, IS standards, and specifications, while evaluating component prices and vendor quotations to ensure profitable project execution.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Estimation Engineer with a strong understanding of electrical panels and cost estimation. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, BOQs, material take-offs, and techno-commercial quotations for electrical panel projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and BOQs for electrical panel projects.
• Handle estimations for LT, PCC, MCC, APFC, VFD, and PLC panels.
• Review client drawings, SLDs, GA drawings, and technical specifications.
• Prepare material take-offs (MTO), costing sheets, and rate analysis.
• Evaluate electrical component prices and vendor quotations.
• Handle tender documents, RFQs, and techno-commercial queries.
• Coordinate with Design, Purchase, Sales, and Project teams.
• Perform cost comparisons, profitability analysis, and margin assessments.
• Manage revised estimates and variation costing.
• Prepare estimation reports and cost summaries for management.

Required Skills and Technical Knowledge:

• Strong knowledge of electrical panels and panel manufacturing.
• Hands-on understanding of LT, PCC, MCC, APFC, and VFD panels.
• Knowledge of electrical components such as ACB, MCCB, MCB, contactors, relays, VFDs, and capacitors.
• Basic understanding of AutoCAD drawings, SLDs, and GA drawings.
• Knowledge of applicable IS standards, safety norms, and electrical regulations.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and email communication.
• Strong analytical, calculation, coordination, and time-management skills.
