Job summary

A leading sustainability consulting firm in India is seeking an ESG Reporting Specialist. This role will involve preparing and managing accurate ESG reports, gathering and analyzing data, and ensuring compliance with international standards. Ideal candidates will have a background in Environmental Science or related fields and possess strong analytical and communication skills. Qualifications

• Prior experience in ESG reporting or sustainability reporting.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis and visualization, and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and manage accurate and timely ESG and sustainability reports.
• Gather, interpret, and analyze ESG data from multiple sources.
• Stay updated on global ESG regulations and industry benchmarks.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to align reporting requirements.
• Identify trends and insights from ESG data to provide recommendations.

• You will be responsible for ESG Reporting: Prepare, review, and manage accurate and timely ESG and sustainability reports in accordance with various international standards, such as GRI, SASB, TCFD, and CDP
• Data Collection and Analysis: Gather, interpret, and analyze ESG data from multiple sources within the organization; ensure data accuracy and completeness for disclosure
• Compliance and Benchmarking: Stay updated on global ESG regulations and industry benchmarks, ensuring Cognitud’s compliance and alignment with the latest standards and best practices
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, compliance, and sustainability, to align reporting requirements and gather necessary information
• Trend Analysis and Reporting Improvements: Identify trends and insights from ESG data to provide actionable recommendations for improving reporting practices and support Cognitud’s sustainability goals
