Growth For Impact is seeking a motivated ESG Research Associate in Mumbai to contribute to a collaborative team environment. You will handle ESG data processing, perform research and analysis, and monitor industry trends to support corporate ratings.

The role requires 0–2 years of relevant experience, excellent English, and strong attention to detail. You will own production targets, coordinate with stakeholders, and continuously develop ESG expertise in a fast‑moving setting.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of relevant professional experience in sustainability‑related fields, financial services, ESG research/sustainable finance, credit ratings, think tanks, or academic research institutes.
• Excellent English language skills, both written and oral.
• Integrity, organizational skills, attention to detail, self‑driven work ethic, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a high‑pressure, deadline‑driven environment.
• Adaptability, flexibility, and ability to thrive in a rapidly evolving environment.
• Ability to work independently while adhering to deadlines and balancing production volumes with high quality.
• Strong research and analytical skills, including planning, delivery, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence and quality control.
• Ability to quickly process large amounts of data

Responsabilités

• Engage in ESG data processing, research, and analysis in line with ISS ESG methodology.
• Track and monitor developments and trends in various industries of specialization.
• Take ownership of production targets and deliver research within timelines and quality standards.
• Coordinate with relevant internal stakeholders to ensure timely production without compromising quality.
• Constantly develop knowledge and expertise on ESG themes associated with corporate ratings.
• Support the rating team using thought leadership, research publications, methodology reviews, and ESG market development monitoring.
• Make suggestions based on domain expertise to evaluate new data sources.
• Demonstrate proactiveness with a strong sense of ownership for the work.
• Act as a process expert regarding production, conduct tutoring, and provide process-relevant training.
• Participate in quality assurance procedures.
