Job summary

Bevolve is seeking an ESG Intern to join its team in Puducherry, India. This full-time, 6-month internship offers hands-on experience in ESG and Integrated Reporting projects, where you will research frameworks, assist in report drafting, and gain exposure to best practices.

About the Role

Are you curious about sustainability and enjoy deep research and structured writing? Join us as an ESG Intern and support real-world ESG and Integrated Reporting projects. This role involves researching ESG frameworks, studying how organizations disclose sustainability information, and supporting the development of client-facing ESG and Integrated Reports.

You will work closely with the core team on ongoing projects and gain practical exposure to BRSR, GRI, and Integrated Reporting (IIRC), moving beyond theory into applied reporting and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Research ESG frameworks and reporting standards and translate them into clear, usable notes
• Support benchmarking of sustainability and integrated reports across industries
• Assist in drafting report sections, summaries, and content explainers
• Compile evidence-backed references and ensure proper citations and source integrity
• Support the team in maintaining research repositories and best‑practice libraries

Required Experience

• Educational background in sustainability, environmental studies, engineering, finance, economics, research, or related fields
• Strong written English and ability to structure content clearly
• Comfort with reading long reports and extracting key insights
• Basic understanding of sustainability or ESG concepts is preferred
• 0–1 year of experience (internships, academic projects, or writing work included)

Preferred Experience

• Familiarity with ESG frameworks such as BRSR, GRI, or Integrated Reporting
• Experience with academic or policy research, literature reviews, or content writing
• Ability to reference sources correctly and maintain research discipline
• Interest in corporate sustainability, ESG reporting, or impact communication

• This role is onsite in Pondicherry, India
