Job summary

Hexaware is seeking a Workday HCM functional consultant to collaborate with clients, gather requirements, and translate them into effective Workday configurations. You will configure core HCM, payroll, benefits, talent management, and recruiting, while conducting gap analyses and recommending improvements.

You will also support data migration, validation, and transformation from legacy systems, participate in UAT, and develop end-user training materials to ensure smooth adoption of Workday

Qualifications

• Experience implementing Workday HCM modules (Core HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Talent Management, Recruiting).
• Strong business analysis and requirements gathering skills.
• Ability to conduct UAT and coordinate testing with stakeholders.
• Experience delivering end-user training and creating training materials.

Functional

• Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into system requirements and solutions in Workday HCM.
• Configure and maintain Workday HCM module(s) including Core HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Talent Management, and Recruiting as per the client’s business processes.
• Conduct gap analysis and make recommendations for improvements to existing HR processes using Workday best practices.
• Assist with data migration, including data mapping, validation, and transformation from legacy systems to Workday.
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and coordinate testing efforts with clients and stakeholders.
• Develop and deliver training materials and conduct workshops to educate end users on Workday functionality.
• Provide post-implementation support, troubleshooting, and resolve any system-related issues.
• Stay up to date with Workday release updates and new features, advising clients on how to leverage these enhancements.
• Contribute to project documentation, including functional specifications, process maps, and training guides.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including technical consultants, project managers, and client stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Collaborate with clients to gather requirements, identify gaps, and provide solutions tailored to their financial processes and Workday functionality.
• Configure Workday Financials modules (including but not limited to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Procurement, and Financial Reporting) to meet client specifications.
• Conduct testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and provide support during the implementation phase to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Develop training materials and lead training sessions for end-users to enhance user adoption of Workday
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into integration solutions within Workday.
