Qualifications

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced ERPNext Technical Consultant / Developer with 3+ years of hands-on expertise in the Frappe Framework to join our team in Kolkata. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, managing, customizing, and deploying ERPNext instances, developing custom Frappe apps, generating complex reports, and driving third-party software integrations.

The ideal candidate possesses deep technical capabilities, a solid understanding of standard business processes, and proven experience managing full-lifecycle ERPNext implementations.

Key Responsibilities

• System Setup & Infrastructure Management: Execute fresh installations, server maintenance, backup automation, domain mapping, and benchmarking for ERPNext/Frappe instances. Manage updates, version migrations, and database scripts.
• Custom App & Core Customization: Build custom Frappe apps from scratch. Customize Doctypes, Client/Server scripts, workflows, print formats, access permissions, and automated actions.
• Third-Party Integrations: Develop and consume RESTful APIs to integrate ERPNext with external tools (Payment Gateways, E-commerce platforms, CRMs, WhatsApp/SMS services, Biometric hardware).
• Reporting & Analytics: Build advanced SQL/Query Reports, Script Reports, Jinja print formats, and interactive executive dashboards.
• Functional Support & Troubleshooting: Configure and support core modules (Accounts, Buying, Selling, Stock, HR/Payroll, Manufacturing). Debug Python backend code, frontend JS script errors, and database performance bottlenecks.

Required Candidate Profile

• Core Framework: Hands-on proficiency in Frappe Framework and ERPNext architecture.
• Programming: Strong mastery of Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Jinja2 templating.
• Database Management: Proficient in MariaDB / MySQL query optimization, custom indexing, and raw queries.
• APIs & Protocol: Hands-on experience with REST APIs, Webhooks, JSON parsing, and authentication methods.
• DevOps & CLI: Familiarity with Linux/Ubuntu server administration, Bench CLI commands, Git, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Docker is a plus).
• Functional Knowledge: Understanding of core business flows across Accounting, Purchasing, Inventory Control, Sales, and HR.
• Qualifications: B.E. / B.Tech / BCA / MCA / B.Sc in Computer Science/IT or equivalent industry experience. Must be available to work onsite in Kolkata.
