Job summary

A software solutions company in Bengaluru is seeking an ERPNext/Frappe Developer who will be responsible for building, customizing, and maintaining business solutions using the Frappe Framework. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of the Frappe Framework, experience with databases, and familiarity with web technologies. This position involves developing RESTful APIs, creating custom reports, and ensuring smooth upgrades of systems. Knowledge of Linux server management and Docker is preferred.

Qualifications

AnERPNext/Frappe Developer is responsible for building, customizing, and maintaining business solutions using theFrappe Framework

Key Responsibilities

• Custom App & Module Development: Design and build complete applications from scratch or extend existing ERPNext modules using theFrappe Framework .
• System Customization: Create custom scripts, DocTypes, workflows, and print formats to automate business processes.
• API & Integrations: Develop RESTful APIs and integrate ERPNext with third-party tools such as payment gateways, CRMs, or e-commerce platforms.
• Reporting & Dashboards: Design and implement custom reports (Script, Query, or Report Builder) and interactive dashboards for data visualization.
• Maintenance & Upgrades: Ensure a smooth transition for existing customizations when upgrading to newer versions of Frappe/ERPNext.

Required Experience and Skills

• Framework Knowledge: Deep understanding of theFrappe Framework, including Jinja2 templates, Bench CLI, and hooks.
• Database Management: Experience withMariaDB/MySQLorPostgreSQL, specifically in schema modeling and query optimization.
