Job description

This is a full-time role for a Frappe Developer based in Bengaluru, with flexibility for hybrid work depending on project requirements. The Frappe Developer will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining applications built on the Frappe Framework and ERPNext platform. The role involves backend and frontend development, workflow automation, API integrations, and deployment management while collaborating closely with internal teams to build scalable business applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using the Frappe Framework and ERPNext
• Build custom modules, DocTypes, workflows, reports, dashboards, and script
• Develop backend functionalities and server-side logic using Python
• Customize ERPNext features based on business and operational requirements
• Design and integrate REST APIs with third-party systems and services
• Manage deployments, updates, and environments using Bench and Docker
• Work with Git for version control and collaborative development
• Troubleshoot application issues and optimize system performance
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and implement requirements
• Ensure code quality, scalability, and maintainability across projects

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Experience working with the Frappe Framework and/or ERPNext
• Understanding of REST APIs and system integrations
• Familiarity with MariaDB/MySQL databases
• Experience with Git, Linux environments, and Docker
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Good communication and collaboration abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building custom ERPNext applications or enterprise solutions
• Familiarity with cloud deployment and Frappe Cloud
• Understanding of business workflows and ERP systems
• Knowledge of UI/UX best practices for enterprise applications
• Experience in agile or startup environments
