Job description

Navtech is looking for a ERPNext Functional Consultant who will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting ERPNext software to meet the specific business needs of an organization. The consultant will collaborate with stakeholders to identify requirements, configure solutions, and ensure smooth system adoption across various departments.

Working as a ERPNext Functional Consultant at Navtech, you will:

• Lead the implementation of ERPNext, from requirements gathering to system configuration and go-live. Customize the system to meet business needs while ensuring adherence to industry best practices.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their processes, needs, and challenges. Translate these requirements into ERPNext solutions.
• Configure ERPNext modules such as Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, Manufacturing, HR, and Project Management according to business specifications.
• Map out current business processes and recommend improvements using ERPNext features. Document workflows, processes, and system configurations for future reference.
• Customize ERPNext forms, reports, and workflows where necessary. Integrate ERPNext with other internal systems or third-party applications as needed.
• Provide training to end-users, ensuring they understand how to use ERPNext effectively. Offer ongoing support and troubleshooting to resolve issues.
• Oversee data migration from legacy systems to ERPNext, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Conduct system testing to ensure configurations and customizations are functioning as expected. Address any issues and ensure system stability before the go-live phase.
• Provide post-implementation support and maintenance, addressing any user issues, system enhancements, or upgrades.
• Keep the ERPNext system up to date with the latest releases and patches, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Stay up to date with the latest features and functionalities of ERPNext. Continuously recommend system improvements based on business needs and evolving industry trends.

Who Are We Looking For Exactly?

• 2+ years of experience as an ERPNext functional consultant or in similar roles working with ERP systems. Hands-on experience with ERPNext modules is essential.
• Strong knowledge of ERPNext functionalities and its modules. Familiarity with Frappe Framework (ERPNext's underlying framework) is a plus. Basic knowledge of SQL for reporting and data manipulation is beneficial.
• Strong understanding of core business processes across multiple departments such as finance, inventory, sales, purchasing, and manufacturing.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve functional issues and challenges faced by users within the ERP system.
• Experience in managing ERP projects, ensuring timely delivery of system configuration, testing, and go-live.
• Ability to understand client requirements, deliver solutions, and provide exceptional customer service through support and training.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related degrees and throughout education in English medium. ERPNext certification or similar credentials is a plus.
