Job summary

BDO India is seeking a Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations technical consultant/developer to support, enhance, and maintain live client environments. You will fix defects, implement extensions, and ensure stability and performance of customisations and integrations.

Key tasks include building X++ customisations, delivering reports and Power BI dashboards, and managing deployments via Azure DevOps and LCS. Strong experience in D365 F&O and data integrations is required.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of hands-on D365 F&O / AX technical development experience.
• Strong X++ programming skills with the extension-based development model.
• Experience with data entities, DMF, integrations (OData, REST/SOAP) and batch framework.
• Working knowledge of SSRS reporting and Electronic Reporting.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, LCS, and build/release management.
• Good understanding of F&O data model and at least basic functional awareness of Finance or SCM.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 technical support for D365 F&O customisations, extensions, integrations, batch jobs and reports.
• Develop and maintain X++ customisations using extension model and best practices.
• Build and troubleshoot integrations using Data Management Framework (DMF), OData, custom services, Logic Apps / Azure integrations and Power Platform.
• Debug and resolve performance issues, deadlocks and batch failures.
• Deliver enhancements to SSRS reports, Electronic Reporting and Power BI dashboards.
• Manage code deployment through Azure DevOps (build, release pipelines, LCS).
• Prepare technical design documents (TDD), unit test artefacts and deployment notes.
