Job summary

Sonata Software is seeking a D365 F&O Technical Lead. Location: Bangalore / Chennai / Hyderabad. The role focuses on developing D365 F&O solutions, supporting reporting, and delivering high-quality deployments.

You will drive hands-on development, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and mentor others in the project lifecycle. The candidate will demonstrate strong D365 F&O expertise, cloud know-how, and a track record of delivering complex initiatives in a matrix organization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development experience with strong Dynamics 365 F&O expertise.
• Hands-on D365 F&O development and cloud technology exposure.
• Ability to manage multiple complex initiatives across the lifecycle.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Clear understanding of Azure, Power BI and deployment strategies.

• Ensure prioritized work items are developed and tested in accordance with defined acceptance criteria.
• Act as a product/solution evangelist to build awareness and understanding of the platform.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software development with strong expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
• Solid technical background with hands‑on experience in D365 F&O development.
• Ability to manage multiple complex initiatives with competing deadlines from concept through delivery across all stages of the application lifecycle.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Experience working effectively with cross‑functional teams in a matrix organization.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Clear understanding of cloud technologies, PaaS, IaaS, ASE, Power BI, D365 Enterprise Operations, and Azure SQL.
• Working knowledge of Azure DevOps, source code management techniques, deployment strategies, and system upgrade management.
• Experience working with vendors, external solution providers, and ISVs.
• Agile/Scrum project experience.
• Ability to create and implement automated test scripts where applicable.
• Experience in code branch management and software deployment processes.
• Hands‑on experience in planning, testing, and executing platform and software upgrades.
