Job summary

Emkay Global Financial Services Ltd. is seeking a research analyst to support fundamental company research, data extraction, and financial modeling. The role involves preparing initiation notes and quarterly updates, while coordinating roadshows and liaising with buy-side analysts.

The candidate will collaborate with the lead analyst and associates, improving the readability and impact of research communications and notes. Mumbai-based role with exposure to flagship market events.

Qualifications

• Data extraction from databases (e.g., Bloomberg).
• Fundamental primary research of companies.
• Assisting in building financial models and maintaining databases.
• Preparing initiation notes and quarterly result/update notes.
• Coordinating with roadshows and conferences.
• Interacting with select buy-side analysts.

Responsibilities

• Cull data from databases like Bloomberg for analysis.
• Conduct fundamental research on target companies.

• Assisting the lead analyst in meeting corporate, doing channel checks, arranging for roadshows & conference
• Independent responsibility to interact with select buy-side analysts
• Organizational Relationships: Closely works with the analyst and associates in the same sector and across research
• Proven skills of significantly improving the structure and readability of written communication
