Job summary

Motilal Oswal Financial Services (MOFSL) is seeking a client-acquisition role in equity broking. You will drive monthly new client acquisition, source clients, provide market insights, and manage relationships with varied client segments.

The role requires strong equity market knowledge, Demat/trading account familiarity, cross-selling capabilities, and regular client communication. NISM Series VIII Equity Derivatives certification and terminal experience are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Drive new client acquisition and generate brokerage revenue from self-sourced and RM-sourced clients.
• Provide clients with equity market insights, investment ideas and portfolio guidance based on their risk profile.
• Cross-sell third-party investment products and maintain regular client communication.

• Drive new client acquisition and acquire 2-3 new clients monthly as per targets.

Role & responsibilities

• Drive new client acquisition and acquire Monthly 2-3 new clients as per defined business targets.
• Generate brokerage revenue through self-sourced clients as well as clients sourced through Relationship Managers (RMs).
• Provide clients with equity market insights, investment ideas and portfolio-related guidance based on their requirements and risk profile.
• Drive cross-selling of third-party investment products.
• Maintain regular communication with clients through calls, meetings and market updates
• NISM Series VIII Equity Derivatives Certification is mandatory/preferred as per business requirement.
• Terminal Experience is mandatory

Preferred candidate profile

• 1-5 years of relevant experience in Equity Broking / Stock Broking / Wealth Management / Equity Advisory / Financial Services.
• Strong understanding of Indian equity markets, equity products and capital markets.
• Hands-on experience in client acquisition and relationship management.
• Experience in handling Retail, HNI or Affluent clients will be an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of equity trading, Demat/Trading accounts, market terminology and investment products.
