Job summary

EXA Infrastructure is seeking a technical specialist with hands-on Oracle FCCS experience to lead the EPM Cloud implementation and ongoing administration. You will collaborate closely with the Finance team, manage data integration loads from ERP systems, and maintain consolidation dimensions and chart of accounts mappings.

The role involves managing EPM Cloud environments, configuring security, supporting audits, and assisting in UAT, cutover, and runbook creation.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Oracle FCCS experience.
• Strong grasp of consolidation concepts including currency translation and intercompany eliminations.
• Experience with EPM Data Exchange or similar data integration pipelines.
• Familiar with finance controls and SOX-related access reviews.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical side of Oracle EPM Cloud implementation and post go-live administration.
• Build and maintain automated data loads from ERP/GL into EPM; manage mappings and error handling.
• Maintain entity/account/ intercompany dimensions and chart of accounts mappings.
• Administer EPM Cloud environments; perform patching, migrations, backups and testing.
• Set up users, roles and SSO integration; support audits and user recertifications.
• Monitor month-end consolidation cycles and troubleshoot load failures.
• Support UAT, cutover, and documentation; provide first-line technical support to Finance.

Job description

Role Purpose

Own the technical side of Oracle EPM Cloud implementation, consolidating from Oracle Fusion GL to Oracle FCCS, and maintain/administer the system after go-live. The expectation for this role is to partner and work closely with the Finance team while also being part of the ongoing implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Overtime Data integration: Build and maintain automated loads from the source ERP/GL ledgers into EPM using Data Management / Data Integration. Handle mappings, load rules, scheduling and error handling.
• Master data and metadata: Maintain entity, account and intercompany dimensions, including hierarchy changes when entities are acquired, closed, or restructured. Coordinate with Finance on the chart of accounts mapping.
• Environment management: Administer the EPM Cloud instances (Dev/Test and Prod), including patch and monthly update testing, migrations between environments, backups and snapshots.
• Security and access: Set up users, roles and segregation of duties with SSO/identity integration. Support audit and SOX-type access reviews including periodic user recertification.
• Close support: Monitor the consolidation cycle during month-end including scheduling of jobs, mapping changes and troubleshooting load failures.
• Implementation support: Take part in design workshops, build and run test scripts, support UAT and cutover, and write technical documentation and runbooks.
• Ongoing support: Act as first-line technical support for Finance users, and manage the relationship with Oracle and the implementation partner.
• Report Creation support: Support Finance teams with creation of Financial Reports and dashboards in Oracle FCCS application.

Individual Profile

• Strong experience in IT or finance systems, with hands-on Oracle FCCS experience.
• Solid grasp of consolidation concepts: currency translation, intercompany eliminations, and ownership changes.
• Experience with data integration using EPM Data Exchange, pipeline creation.
• Comfortable with security and controls in a finance setting.
