Job summary

Megha Engineering And Infrastructure is seeking an environmental professional to oversee compliance with applicable laws and manage environmental monitoring on projects in India.

You will implement Environmental Management Plans, conduct risk assessments, coordinate testing with labs and consultants, and prepare reports for regulatory authorities, while delivering awareness training to employees and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with environmental laws, regulations, and statutory requirements applicable to the project.
• Monitor air, water, noise, and soil parameters and ensure limits are within prescribed standards.
• Implement and maintain Environmental Management Plans (EMP) at project and site levels.
• Conduct environmental risk assessments and identify mitigation measures for project activities.
• Coordinate environmental monitoring, testing, and reporting with approved laboratories and consultants.
• Prepare and submit environmental reports, returns, and documentation to regulatory authorities.
• Conduct environmental awareness training, inductions, and toolbox talks for employees and contractors.
