Qualifications

• B.Tech / B.E. in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering with Environmental specialization, or M.Sc. Environmental Science.
• Additional certification in Environmental Management or EHS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with environmental laws and project-specific requirements.
• Monitor air, water, noise, dust, and waste management on construction sites.
• Prepare and maintain environmental reports, records, and compliance documentation.
• Coordinate with Pollution Control Board, consultants, and authorities for approvals and inspections.
• Implement Environmental Management Plan (EMP) across project sites.
• Conduct regular environmental inspections and audits of construction sites.
• Oversee disposal and segregation of construction & demolition waste and hazardous waste.
• Monitor STP, rainwater harvesting, sewage management, and water conservation.

Position Overview

SKA Group is seeking a qualified and proactive Environmental Engineer to ensure environmental compliance across its real estate construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for implementing environmental management practices, monitoring pollution control measures, maintaining statutory compliance, and promoting sustainable construction practices at project sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with environmental laws, regulations, and project-specific environmental requirements.
• Monitor construction activities for air, water, noise, dust, and waste management compliance.
• Prepare and maintain environmental reports, records, registers, and compliance documentation.
• Coordinate with Pollution Control Board, environmental consultants, and government authorities for approvals and inspections.
• Implement Environmental Management Plan (EMP) across project sites.
• Conduct regular environmental inspections and audits of construction sites.
• Ensure proper disposal and segregation of construction & demolition waste and hazardous waste wherever applicable.
• Monitor STP, rainwater harvesting systems, sewage management, and water conservation practices.
• Promote sustainable construction initiatives including energy conservation and green building practices.
• Conduct environmental awareness and training sessions for site employees, contractors, and workers.
• Identify environmental risks and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate with EHS, Civil, MEP, and Project teams for effective implementation of environmental standards.

Required Qualifications

• B.Tech / B.E. in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering with Environmental specialization, or M.Sc. Environmental Science.
• Additional certification in Environmental Management or EHS will be preferred.

Experience

• 2–8 years of relevant experience in Real Estate, Construction, Infrastructure, or Building Projects.
• Experience in high-rise residential or commercial construction projects will be preferred.
