Job summary

PERSOL is seeking an Entity Accountant to manage general ledger accounting, financial reporting and statutory compliance for EMEA/APAC entities, ensuring adherence to US GAAP, local GAAP and financial control standards. The role requires 5+ years of experience and a Hyderabad-based work location.

Responsibilities include month-end close, statutory statements, and coordinating with auditors, while driving process improvements and automation within a strong control environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in general ledger accounting, financial reporting and statutory reporting.
• Proficient in US GAAP and local GAAP with strong accounting knowledge.
• Experience with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close and audit coordination.

Responsibilities

• Manage full sets of accounts per US GAAP and local GAAP.
• Execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes with quality reviews.
• Prepare statutory financial reports and liaise with auditors as required.
• Support process improvements, automation, and controls within Finance.

Role: Manage General Ledger Accounting, Financial Reporting, and Statutory Compliance for EMEA/APR entities while ensuring adherence to US GAAP, local GAAP, and financial control standards.

• Handles month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, including financial reporting and account reconciliations.
• Prepares statutory financial statements and coordinates with auditors to ensure compliance and reporting accuracy.
• Supports finance transformation, process improvements, and automation initiatives while maintaining strong financial controls.

Role & responsibilities

Job Responsibilities

• Manage full sets of accounts in accordance with US GAAP and applicable local GAAP.
• Manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, including conducting quality reviews.
• Prepare and ensure the accuracy of statutory financial reports.
• Coordinate and liaise with external parties such as auditors as required.
• Ensure compliance to US GAAP, local GAAP and related international accounting standards.
• Support organizational strategic initiatives within the organization.
• Ability to work independently and under time constraints, to a high level of accuracy.
• Undertake any other tasks and responsibilities as required.
• Adhere to relevant quality, environmental, health, and safety management system requirements.

• Fluent in English both written and spoken.
