Job summary

Blue Yonder seeks a Technical Architect (SCPO) to lead services delivery for product implementation and integration across customer projects. You will architect, design with counterparts and customers and guide a large technical team through multiple implementations.

The role requires strong programming, domain knowledge in Supply Chain Planning, and hands-on development activity. Travel to customer sites is expected, with global coordination and rapid learning of new technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science Preferred) and 12 to 20 years of experience in Software industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of technical consultants / developers on Solution implementation, enhancement, managed services, integration, custom projects either at the customer site or offshore.
• Estimate workload of implementation activities within scope, assess outside-scope needs and integration complexity, architecture.
• Conduct technical analysis sessions with customers and project team to understand needs and develop technical solutions.
• Design and develop platform workflow/UI, integration scripts, data mapping/modeling, loading of data.
• Provide diverse technical support including QA/design reviews, environment setup, installation, configuration, troubleshooting, testing, programming.

• The team currently comprises of 80+ associates in India and is expected to grow rapidly. The incumbent should be passionate about working with new technologies and products and demonstrate the ability to learn quickly, have good interpersonal & communication skills verbal & written.

What You’ll Do

• Lead a team of technical consultants / developers on Solution implementation, enhancement, managed services, integration, custom projects either at the customer site or offshore.
• Estimate the workload of implementation activities that are within the scope of their skills; assess business needs that fall outside the standard solution, assess integration complexity, architecture.
• Conduct technical analysis sessions with customers and/or the project team to understand the functional and technical needs of the customer and develop technical solutions to meet those needs.
• Design and develop platform workflow/ user interface, integration scripts, Data mapping, data modeling and loading of data.
• Provide a variety of technical support to the project team, including quality assurance/design review, environment setup, software installation, configuration, operations consulting, troubleshooting, system testing, programming, etc.
• Handle activities with a diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
• Provide internal and external trainings.
• Implementation and steady state support and contribute on internal development projects.
• Accelerate Time-to-Value for customer by iteratively delivering in short cycles.
• Continuously upskill on Blue Yonders product suite to convey relationships and touchpoints to the customer.
• Ready to travel to customer sites based on business needs, and flexible to work with overlapping time zones and work timings.
• Recognize and highlight incremental revenue opportunities within existing customer projects.
• Create artifacts towards reusability and automation decreasing implementation lifecycle and reducing errors post go-live

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science Preferred) and 12 to 20 years of experience in Software industry; ideally a candidate that has started as a consultant and has worked his/her way to leading the technical team on 4-6 complete implementation cycles.
• Strong programming experience and problem-solving skills
• Technical Background, Supply Chain Planning Industry Experience
• Expertise on performance tuning techniques and ability to assist other team members with benchmarking and sizing exercises.
• Possess technical expertise on PL/SQL, database, Snowflake, ETL, Platform, Python scripting,
• Demonstrable experience leading, building, deploying and maintenance of enterprise solutions (cloud or on-premises)
• Good understanding of Web Technologies and API fundamentals
• Strong understanding on Cloud and Architectural design (Azure or equivalent, Microservices Architecture, Multi-Tenant)
• Demonstrable experience with Blue Yonder SCPO Platform.
• Hands-on development skills; should not have moved away from development activities.
• Passionate about working with new technologies, products and demonstrate the ability to learn quickly, have good interpersonal & communication skills verbal & written.
