Qualifications

• 11–12 years of experience in software engineering with hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, Kafka, Snowflake, and cloud-native development.
• Proven experience leading technical projects and actively contributing to architecture, design, coding, code reviews, and technical decision-making.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, event-driven architecture, cloud-native microservices, Kubernetes, Docker, Azure, and DevOps practices.
• Experience with Big Data technologies including Snowflake, Spark, Scala, Elasticsearch, NoSQL/RDBMS, and designing scalable SaaS platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers, drive technical excellence, and influence engineering decisions across geographically distributed teams.
• Strong project management skills with experience in Agile/Scrum, sprint planning, backlog prioritization, stakeholder management, risk mitigation, and cross-functional coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end planning and execution of engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and alignment with business objectives.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Architects, Engineering, and Customer teams to define technical solutions, prioritize work, and manage project risks and dependencies.
• Remain hands-on by participating in architecture discussions, solution design, coding sessions, code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Mentor engineers by providing technical guidance, reviewing designs and implementations, and fostering engineering best practices across the team.
• Drive engineering excellence through clean code practices, CI/CD, DevOps, automation, security, observability, and operational readiness.
• Monitor project health, communicate progress to stakeholders, proactively resolve delivery impediments, and ensure predictable execution.
• Participate in the engineering on-call rotation to provide technical leadership during production incidents, root cause analysis, and continuous platform improvements.

What You'll Do
