CareerXperts Consulting is seeking an Associate Director / Director – Solution Architecture to lead a team of solution architects and drive architecture for complex customer engagements in the supply-chain space.

The role balances leadership with hands-on architecture, focusing on scalable, secure, and production-ready solutions across APIs, data, and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in software engineering, solution architecture, enterprise integration, or related technical domains.
• 5+ years leading architects, principal engineers, or senior technical teams.
• Experience operating at Associate Director/Director level is preferred.
• Strong programming background with production-grade applications end-to-end.
• Deep expertise in EDI workflows and modern API integrations (REST, OData, transformation, orchestration).
• Strong experience integrating ERP and enterprise applications; supply-chain domain preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply Generative AI, RAG, and Agentic AI patterns to enterprise and supply-chain use cases.
• Help build an FDE-driven solution delivery model.
• Translate complex customer problems into scalable, production-grade solutions.
• Design end-to-end solutions across APIs, services, messaging, data, security, cloud, observability, and deployment.
• Architect complex B2B integrations across trading partners and enterprise systems like ERP, WMS, TMS.

The Opportunity

A global leader in Supply Chain Orchestration and B2B Integration, helping enterprises connect customers, suppliers, retailers, logistics providers, and critical enterprise systems such as ERP, WMS, and TMS.

Its technology platform brings together EDI, APIs, integration, orchestration, and AI to help enterprises manage complex supply-chain processes end to end.

We are looking for an Associate Director / Director – Solution Architecture to join the Professional Services organization.

This is a leadership + hands-on architecture role for an experienced architect who can lead a team of solution architects while personally driving architecture for complex and strategic customer engagements.

The ideal candidate is an “architect of architects” with strong software engineering and programming depth, deep B2B integration expertise, and the ability to design and build applications end to end.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply Generative AI, RAG, and Agentic AI patterns to enterprise and supply-chain use cases.
• Help build an FDE (Forward Deployed Engineering)-driven solution delivery model.
• Translate complex customer problems into scalable, production-grade solutions.
• Apply expertise in tool calling, MCP, APIs, enterprise data, and AI agents to design secure and practical solutions.
• Make sound architectural decisions on when to use deterministic software versus AI-driven approaches.
• Engage with customers to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable architectures.
• Design end-to-end solutions across APIs, services, messaging, event-driven systems, data, security, cloud, observability, and deployment.
• Architect complex B2B integrations across trading partners and enterprise systems including ERP, WMS, TMS, and logistics platforms.
• Apply strong programming and software engineering skills to prototypes, reference implementations, code reviews, and design reviews.
• Drive architecture for scalability, resiliency, performance, security, and production readiness.
• Balance hands-on architecture and solution delivery with leadership responsibilities across multiple engagements.

What We're Looking For

• 15+ years of experience across software engineering, solution architecture, enterprise integration, or related technical domains.
• 5+ years of experience leading architects, principal engineers, or senior technical teams.
• Experience operating at Associate Director / Director level is preferred.
• Strong programming background with experience building production-grade applications end to end.
• Deep expertise in EDI workflows and modern API integrations, including REST, OData, transformation, orchestration, messaging, and exception handling.
• Strong experience integrating ERP and enterprise applications; supply-chain domain experience is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture, scalability, resiliency, security, observability, performance tuning, and production operations.
• Experience with ANSI X12, EDIFACT, XML, flat files, AS2, and SFTP is a strong advantage.
• Working knowledge of Generative AI, RAG, Agentic AI, tool calling, MCP, and FDE-driven solution delivery.
